If you are a parent or guardian of a student attending Burnaby Mountain Secondary then you are entitled to belong to our school’s Parent Advisory Council or PAC.

What’s a PAC and what does it do?
Every school in BC must have a Parent Advisory Council, as defined  by the BC School Act. Each school creates and maintains its own PAC Constitution which defines its purpose, objectives and rules. At Mountain our PAC is “dedicated to the education and the well-being of the child. Its primary mandate is to promote effective communication between the home and school.” The PAC hosts (monthly) parent meetings, provides parent education through guest speakers and panel discussions, volunteers at school events, fundraises, forms the School Planning Council (SPC), and serves in an advisory role to the school.
